Had a scare!

Last night I attended a funeral with my parents for a family friend tonight.  Matt had to stay home with the boys because they are sick :( but we were standing there talking to people and all the sudden I felt like I had peed my pants.  I was like crap!  (I am preggo with babies 5&6 it wouldn't have shocked me, LOL) so I go to the bathroom and my undies and tights are completely soaked with blood.  I just had a huge gush come out!  Immediately after I began cramping and feared the worst.  My mom took me over to the ER because I was literally gushing blood and we were right by a hospital.  I was seen by a doc who knew nothing about IVF or Early pregnancy so he was totally confused and wanted me to take a pregnancy test before he even used the u/s machine.  I politely declined, and he began the exam!  Thank the lord both babes were still hanging out in there and had heart rates in the 140's.  He mentioned one was much smaller so that had me concerned.  He said he wasn't sure what was wrong and that I should just go see my RE in the morning.

So this morning I go first thing, and first thing he notices is that the pictures I gave him to look at from last night are measured way wrong!  Good News babies are exactly the same size!!!  I do have a uterine bleed that was 3cm by 2cm, but he was not concerned for the safety of the babies at this point!  He says it is common and actually better when it was a big gush of blood like that.  I am to take  it easy and rest for the next few days while the bleed continues to heal and then things should progress normally!  I have never bleed at all during a pregnancy so I was worried!  he said that it is very common especially with IVF multiples!  So that helped put me at ease a bit!!
Here is a photo of the bleed.  It is the large oblong
shaped dark area above the two sacs.  It is larger than the sacs
at this point.  I go back next week to follow up and to see if it has absorbed!
